Ashfield Partnership Against Crime

About APAC

The Ashfield Partnership Against Crime (APAC), which coordinates activity to tackle crime and community safety, consists of a number of agencies including Ashfield District Council, Nottinghamshire County Council, Nottinghamshire Police, Nottinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service, NHS Nottinghamshire County, the Drug and Alcohol Action Team and the Nottingham Probation Service.

We are working together to make our communities and our residents feel safer.

What do we do?

Working together, the partner organisations listed above have agreed to tackle to following priorities:

  • Anti social behaviour
  • Community confidence
  • Criminal damage
  • Domestic burglary
  • Domestic violence
  • Drugs and alcohol misuse
  • Theft from motor vehicles
  • Violent crime

These are the priorities we will be working on between 2010 and 2013. We decided to work on these priorities by considering crime and anti social behaviour trends, neighbourhood priorities and your responses to surveys about community concerns.

The Partners

No single agency can hope to reduce the incidence of crime and tackle the causes of criminal activity and Anti Social Behaviour by itself. APAC's main objective therefore, is to work with our partners to reduce crime and the fear of crime in our communities.
